Cookie Policy: How we use cookies at AstraLearners
Last Updated: 26/04/2026
At AstraLearners, we’re huge on privacy. We believe that your family’s online space should be secure and free from unnecessary tracking. This policy explains how we use cookies to make our platform work for you.
1. What are cookies?
Think of a "cookie" as a tiny digital bookmark. When you visit AstraLearners, our website places a small file on your computer so it can remember who you are. This is what allows you to stay logged in while you move from a Learning Lab to your child’s Schedule without having to enter your password every time.
2. Our "Privacy-First" Approach
Unlike many websites, we do not use cookies to track you across the internet.
* We do not use cookies for advertising.
* We do not sell your cookie data to third parties.
* We only use cookies that help the site function or help us understand how to improve our lessons.
3. The Cookies We Use
We categorise our cookies into three simple groups:
Essential Cookies (Always On)
These are vital for the website to work. Without these, you wouldn't be able to log in or access your secure cloud storage.
Purpose: Keeping you logged in and verifying your identity for security.
Learning & Progress Cookies
These help us remember where your child is in their educational journey.
Purpose: Saving a child's spot in a game, remembering a "Music Teacher" lesson progress, or keeping track of earned badges.
Site Improvement Cookies
These give us anonymous information about how people use AstraLearners.
Purpose: Telling us which lessons are the most popular so we can create more of the content you love!
4. Your Choices
You are in control. You can choose to disable functional or site improvement cookies through your browser settings, though this might mean the site doesn't remember your progress as well.
Please Note: If you disable "Essential Cookies," you will not be able to log in to your AstraLearners account, as we use these to keep your family’s data secure.
5. Need more help?
Privacy can be a bit technical, but we’re happy to help clear things up. If you have any questions about our cookies or how we protect your data, please reach out to us.
